Registration Process
STEP ONE: CREATE YOUR PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT
Students must be 5 yrs. old by August 31st to apply for Kindergarten.
If your student meets these criteria, please continue on by creating a Parent Portal account to start the application process.
STEP TWO: SUBMIT application & FEE
Upon creating your account, follow the instructions provided in your introductory email to complete your application.
Make the non-refundable payment of $175 for your application submission.
Once all required information has been received by NorthPoint (including records, transcripts, recommendations {grade 1-12}, and ABC screening results) you will receive notification of Admission decision for your student.
Part of the application is submission of 2 recommendations for students entering 1st through 12th grades. Once you have completed email addresses for two recommenders, NorthPoint Christian Academy will send the recommendation form to the email addresses you have provided. It is recommended that you give the recommenders a courtesy email letting them know that they will receive this form from NCA.
If you receive notification that your student has been admitted and you would like to accept the spot in a classroom, please go back into your Parent Portal and click on “Enrollment Fee $750”. Once you have submitted your non-refundable application fee of $750, your student’s spot has been secured in a class. This fee includes the admission review, processing, curriculum, and on-campus security fees to cover your student.
STEP THREE: schedule student assessment if applicable (grades k-3)
A standardized admissions screening is one of the tools NorthPoint Christian Academy uses to determine the best placement for each student in grades K-3. The cost is $100 per student and is paid directly to ABC Educational Services when you schedule your screening. Upon completing the screening form, submit via email to: erika.g@abcedservices.com. You will then be contacted by ABC Educational Services directly to schedule your student’s screening.
STEP FOUR: STUDENT records release
Please have your student’s current school send an official transcript or copy of student records using the form below.
This is required only for students applying for 1st grade and above.
STEP FIVE: AWAIT FINAL ADMISSION DECISION
Once all necessary records, testing results (if applicable) and recommendations have been submitted, the Admissions team will evaluate the completed application for admission. You will be contacted via email with the decision.
STEP SIX: FINAL ADMISSION DECISION
Thank you for your interest and application to NorthPoint Christian Academy! After we have received all required documents (see Steps 1-5), we will review your application and inform you of our admission decision. We maintain rolling admissions and applications are processed as they are received.
NON-DISCRIMINATORY POLICY: NorthPoint Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. LEARNING LOOKS DIFFERENT
We aim to ignite the fire of learning in our students so that they will become lifelong learners. We do this by designing environments that are supportive and engage our learners with learning activities that connect with their unique learning styles.
A COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS
NorthPoint students will thrive when there is a partnership between educators and parents in supporting their development. Research shows that teachers, parents and the community working together is a key factor in student success. At NorthPoint, parents will be invited to be involved in school life and culture. Our goal is to develop close relationships with teachers, staff and each other. This community spirit will surround our students as we all have a shared commitment to their success.
NEXT GENERATION EDUCATION
Truly preparing students for their future also looks differently in a rapidly evolving world. Many of our students’ future jobs do not currently exist, and the problems they will be required to solve are unpredictable. NorthPoint will aim to equip them with both the knowledge and the tools they will need to thrive.
