Laurie Knauth

Laurie is proud to call NorthPoint Christian Academy her home. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher, even when she was young. She believes finding out how students learn is crucial so she can help them reach their full potential. Laurie started her teaching career in New York working with special education K-6 students. When she moved to Charlotte, N.C. in the early 2000s, she had the opportunity to work at public and private schools over the years and had the chance to immerse in different curriculums. Laurie has a with a degree in Elementary Education, and is Ortho-Gillingham trained. When she is not in the classroom, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Laurie is looking forward to another great year at NorthPoint Christian Academy!
